Ten run inning propels #20 Mavs over NOC Enid

ENID, Oklahoma --  Kamden Edge tossed a five inning no-hitter and Maverick bats bludgeoned #17 NOC Enid for 14 runs in a 14-0 whitewash of the Jets in Game 1 of a conference doubleheader Sunday in Enid.

The #20 Mavs (35-3) improved to 7-2 in league play.

Sunday's first game was scoreless until the fourth when the Mavs sent 14 men to the plate totalling 10 runs on seven hits and four walks.

Bodee Mausser hit a two-run home run and also had a single in the Mavs' big inning.  He added a two-run single in the fifth driving in six runs on the day.

Aidan Zakarewicz and Christian Stratis added two hits each while Zakarewicz and Will Johnson added two runs batted in each.

Edge was in total command striking out two walking two on 85 pitches.
