
TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma -- #16 NOC earned their first conference win of the season Thursday with a 6-3 win road over Murray State.
The Mavs improved to 29-1 on the season while Murray fell to 16-11.
Kamden Edge worked the first three innings allowing no runs on two hits, Kaegan Baker allowed one earned run in 3.1 innings and then Braeden Cooch earned the save working the final .2 of an inning.
Aidan Zakarewicz and Jadan Boyce had two hits each, Brandon Mausser tripled for the Mavs.
NOC led the Aggies 4-1 heading to the seventh when the Mavs scored two insurance runs. Murray rallied for two runs but the Mavs held on for the 6-3 win.
NOC outhit the Aggies 9-5.
