HESSTON, Kansas -- NOC Tonkawa scored two runs in the eighth inning to ease past Hesston (KS) 8-6 on Saturday.  

Aidan Zakarewicz and Eric Harper scored on a ground ball by Will Johnson for what would be the game winner.

Liam McKinney worked 1.2 innings to earn the win in relief.

Logan Taylor started for the Mavs will bullpen help from Rylan Newman, Evan Rolison, Braeden Cooch, and McKinney.

Blade Carver homered for the Mavs while Zakarewicz had two hits and scored two runs for NOC.
