CELINA, Texas -- Logan Taylor worked 5.2 scoreless innings while Blade Carver and Aidan Zakarewicz homered in a 6-1 win over McCook (NE) in Celina, Texas, on Saturday.

Carver and Jadn Boyce had two hits each while Carver and Zakareqicz had two runs batted in each.  

Carson Taylor and Will Johnson both doubled for NOC.

The Mavs led 1-0 in the third and then added five unaswered runs in the fourth and fifth to take a commanding 6-0 lead.

Logan Taylor worked 5.2 innings of one-hit baseball to earn the win with relief from Aiden Hansen and Liam McKinney.

The Mavs improved to 11-0 on the season.
