Jadan Boyce hit a three run second inning home run to lead NOC Tonkawa past Iowa Lakes 8-1 on Sunday at Maverick Field.

The Mavs (3-0) were led by Will Johnson and Blade Carver who had two hits each.

Logan Taylor and Aiden Hansen combined for the win, Taylor working the first four innings allowing one run on five hits.  Hansen worked the final three innings allowing just one hit.  The two combined to strike out 10 hitters.

The Mavs, who stole eight bases, outhit Iowa Lakes 7-6.
