ENID, Oklahoma -- NOC Tonkawa stayed alive in the NJCAA Region 2 Tournament Sunday with a 7-2 win over Carl Albert.

Larry Edwards, Jr. and Landen Johnson both hit two run home runs for the Mavs, Johnson also added an rbi single for NOC.

Luke Shannahan added three hits for the Mavs.

Brendon Carter worked 5.2 innings allowing no earned runs on six hits.  Carson Loyd and Nakni Anna combined to work 3.1 innings of scoreless relief.

The Mavs were outhit 10-8 but had two home runs to just one extra base hit for the Vkings who ended their season.

The Mavs (41-18) face South Ark Sunday afternoon.  The Mavs must beat the Stars Sunday afternoon and Monday to win the NJCAA Region 2 Title.
