MENA, Arkansas -- The Mavs dropped a pair Saturday at Rich Mountain 3-0 and 11-2.

The Mavs (31-17) are 17-11 in conference while Rich Mountain (18-27) improved to 10-18.

In Game 1, the Mavs and Bucks both had five hits but Rich Mountain scored three early runs and beat the Mavs 3-0.

Cade Tucker had two hits while Matt Stancliff, Preston Knott, and Jorge Olivo.

Caden Fiveash allowed one earned run and five hits over six innings.

In Game 2, the Mavs trailed 3-2 in the eighth when Rich Mountain scored eight runs to win 11-2.

Cade Tucker and Enrique Alvarez Jr. had runs batted in while Jaylyn Bennett had two doubles and a run scored.

Nate Windle started for NOC with three Mavs working from the bullpen.

The Mavs host first place Southern Arkansas Friday and Saturday at 1 p.m.
