NOC Baseball named Mitchell Lucero the Student Athlete of the Week.

Lucero is a sophomore catcher from Denton, Texas.

Last week, Lucero hit .250 with one run batted in and one double while handling the Mavs' pitching staff.

For the week, the Mavs were 5-1 with two wins over #5 Murray State.
