Northern Oklahoma College dominated NEO in a 2-0 win Sunday afternoon in Tonkawa.

The NOC women (3-6) improved to 2-4 in conference play.

In NOC's 2-0 win, Maddie Cochran opened the scoring in the 58th minute scoring off a pass from Skylar Yocham.  Janet Moreno added a second in the 89th minute with brilliant individual effort.  She scored after receiving a ball from Sofie Joergensen.  Moreno dribbled past three players to score the clinching goal.

"I felt like the team executed our game plan well today and caused NEO a lot of problems," said coach Jade Ovendale.  "This team has a lot of fight and character which was showed yesterday. This was an important three points today. We've been doing more of the little gritty aspects of the game that has helped us in the midfield. I'd still like to see us convert more of our chances at goal and make the games more out of reach.  We were composed at the back and was able to shut out NEO too."
