Northern Oklahoma College Women's Soccer Team has had five players receive NJCAA All-Academic Third Team Awards for 2018-19. To make it to the All-Academic Third Team student-athletes must achieve a 3.60-3.79 GPA.
Freshman Emma Peak, Madeline Kindred, Savannah Nelson and Sophomore's Mayra Vega and Megan Deshazo were the recipients of this award.
"I am very proud of our players who have earned this award. Maintaining a high GPA while in season can be difficult at times and these 5 have excelled in the classroom and on the field. All five are taking Biology based majors and taking heavy hours, I am happy to see them be rewarded for their dedication in the classroom." Coach Ovendale.
