Mackenzi Kirschner and Brian Romero were named NOC Student Athletes of the Week for Sept. 17.
Kirschner, a freshman from Arvada, Colorado, is a key defender for the Lady Mavs.
"Mackenzi Kirschner has been solid at the back for us," said coach Jade Ovendale. "She played a great game against Redlands to help secure a 1-0 win. She has started every game for us and puts her body on the line for the team."
Romero, a sophomore midfielder from Guymon, had two assists in the Mavs 3-2 overtime win over Rose State.
"Brian has been very good for us this year," said head coach Michael DuRoy. "He is a very mature and smart player. We are expecting big things from him the rest of the way."
