Where Are They Now?

Taylor Sargent played soccer for the Lady mavs for 2 years (2015-2016). She had a tremendous impact on the team and the community. She started in 40 games in her career as a mav and in the 2016 season she recorded her best season in saves with a total of 61. Not only was she a great goalkeeper but she was also a great student. She earned NJCAA All Academic Award and was part of the team that also won the Academic National Championship. As a player she also won the OCAC All Conference team and was back to back Region 2 Champion. Her skills on the field as well as her academics projected her as one of the top recruits for different D1 and D2 schools that were very interested in her. She decided to go to Rogers State University with a D2 University with a great soccer program and amazing facilities.

"Being a mav was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It allowed me to get an education, play the sport I love and make some of my best friends. It is also the reason I am currently at RSU and playing soccer. NOC gave me a great foundation for my education with the level of classes offered, making the transition from Junior College to a University a smooth one. I am currently at RSU and have been awarded defensive player of the week 3 weeks in a row from the Heartland conference. I also received my first team all region. Once a mav, always a mav!!
