Megan Deshazo, Denise Diaz and Prince Dom Afriyie are the Northern Oklahoma College Student-Athletes of the Week.

  Deshazo, a Sand Springs graduate, has scored three goals in the last three games which have been very important ones for the Lady Mavs.

  Diaz is from Enid and played an amazing game in the midfield on Thursday against Murray State and "helped us dominate the game in the air and on the ground as well," said women's coach Juan Castillo.

  Prince Dom Afriyie,  sophomore forward  from  London, had an amazing week with a goal and four assists in two games this week. 

  Coach Michael DuRoy said that "Prince's speed is so hard for other teams to deal with. He opens up so much space for other players because the opposing team has to drop their back line to account for his speed. Prince has been a great leader this season and is one of the team captains."
