MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma -- NOC Tonkawa advanced in the Region 2 Tournament Wednesday night with a 68-57 win over Seminole.
Mattie Rich led the Lady Mavs with 19 points off the bench including six 3-point baskets. Kaydrin Scott added 18 points and a game high 20 rebounds.
Allison Green added 11.
"Good defensive effort," said coach Greg Krause. "Mattie (Rich) gave us a good lift offensively. Always good to get that first one."
NOC built a 28-21 lead at half and never let the Belles get within six points in the second half.
NOC shot 36% from the floor and 32% from 3-point range. NOC shot well from the line hitting 75% (15 of 20).
The Lady Mavs (14-15) faces top seed Connors Friday at 1 p.m. in Muskogee.
