ENID, Oklahoma --  The NOC Lady Mavs led NOC Enid after three quarters but Enid rallied for a 65-62 win in the second meeting between the two teams Thursday night in Enid.

The Lady Jets beat the Lady Mavs 75-73 in January in Tonkawa.

"Good hard-fought game," said coach Greg Krause.  "Good defensive effort. Good contributions from Natalie (Walker) off the bench. For us, we need to shoot better. But this had a playoff intensity which is good prep for the stretch run."

NOC led 49-47 heading to the final period but NOC Enid outscored the Lady Mavs 18-14 in the 4th quarter.

The Lady Mavs held their last lead at 62-61 when Kaydrin Scott scored on a coast to coast layup but the Lady Jets made four three throws down the stretch to win 65-62.

Scott led the Lady Mavs with 14 while Natalie Walker came off the Lady Mav bench with 14.  Maddy Wehrenberg added 10 points for the Lady Mavs.

The Lady Mavs (12-14) fell to 8-6 in conference play while NOC Enid (15-8) improved to 10-5.

The Lady Mavs host Redlands Monday night at 5:30 p.m. for sophomore night.
