"We made a good run at the end of the third quarter and early in the fourth," said coach Greg Krause. "We got some good looks coming down the stretch when we were down but a few untimely turnovers hurt our momentum. We'll need to improve some of our decision making in tough situations, but we believe we will continue to adjust and improve with two of our point guards injured."
Already playing without point guard Mia Brown, point guard Celeste Moore injured a knee in Thursday's contest.
The Lady Mavs are on the road Monday against Redlands.
