ENID, Oklahoma --The Northern Oklahoma College  Lady Mavs (2-7) lost to Garden City 78-61 in Day 2 of the NOC Enid Jets Classic

The Lady Mavs were led by Chideyah Guyton with 14.

 The Lady Mavs trailed from the outset in a 78-61 loss to Garden City on Friday in the NOC Enid Jets Classic.

Chideyah Guyton scored 14 points off the Lady Mavs bench while Lauren Coates had 12 points.  Hannah Maples had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

"There was progress made between the first and second games of the classic," said coach Greg Krause.  "We shot better from the field and got to the free throw line more often. Lauren Coates gave us some high energy play with 12 point and seven rebounds. Carlee Murray did a good job playing point guard for the first time this year. We're working hard to prepare for first conference game on Nov. 25."

The Lady Mavs shot 37 percent from the field and 26 percent from the 3-point line.
