Lady Mavs drop road game at Coffeyville

COFFEYVILLE, Kansas – Playing their third game in four days, the Northern Oklahoma College Lady Mavs lost to Coffeyville 68-60 Monday night.

NOC (1-2) was led by guard Mia Brown with 15 points.  Cassie Manning also reached double figures with 11.  Hannah Maples had eight rebounds to lead NOC while Celeste Moore had four assists.

"We had some good runs in the second and fourth quarters, but in both cases we were playing catch-up," said coach Greg Krause.  "We gained a two point lead at half-time but got off to a slow start in the second half with some untimely turnovers and cold shooting."

NOC led 30-28 at half but Coffeyville outscored the Lady Mavs 31-16 in the third quarter to build a 59-46 lead heading to the final period.
