NEO jumped to a hot start and cruised to an 87-52 win over the Lady Mavs (9-15) Thursday night.

Tahanee Bennell led the Lady Mavs with 16 points while Carlee Murray added 12.

"NEO played really well tonight," said coach Greg Krause.   "And they all shot well. We missed some high percentage scoring opportunities and turned the ball over too many times to put a dent in the point deficit."

NOC travels to Murray Monday night in the first of two road games to end the regular season. 

The Lady Mavs are currently in sixth place with a 6-8 league record and tied with Murray State.

Sophomores Tahanee Bennell, Taylar Watkins, Chelsea Rhoades, Bailey White, Tatiana Jones, and Abigail Webster were honored at their final home game.
