EL RENO, Oklahoma – The Northern Oklahoma College Lady Mavs picked up a 70-63 road win at Redlands Monday night.
The Lady Mavs (9-14) improved to 6-7 in conference play with the 70-63 road win.
Sophomore Tahanee Bennell led the Lady Mavs with 22 points on 7 of 11 shooting. The guard from Tasmania, Australia made six 3-pointers in the seven point win.
Taylar Watkins added 15 while Chelsea Rhoades added 14. Rhoades added 11 rebounds while Mia Brown had six assists.
NOC was effective from the 3-point line hitting 46 percent (13-28).
"Our defense did a good job helping and recovering against a team that can be tough to contain," said coach Greg Krause. "We got a balanced scoring effort which made us tough to cover on this night. It was a good conference win on the road."
The Lady Mavs host NEO Thursday night at 5:30 p.m.
