MIAMI, Oklahoma -- The NOC Lady Mavs dropped a conference game to NEO Monday night at Miami 78-50.

A slow second quarter doomed the Lady Mavs at NEO Monday night as the Lady Norse outscored NOC 23-7 in the quarter to build a 37-17 halftime lead.

Tahanee Bennell led the Lady Mavs with 17 points including four 3-pointers.  Bennell also led the Lady Mavs with eight rebounds.

"NEO's size created problems for us on both ends," said head coach Greg Krause.   "We were able to free up some offensive opportunities as the game progressed but their inside game is a difficult challenge."

NOC will be in action Thursday hosting NOC Enid in games beginning at 5:30 p.m.
