  The Lady Mavs led Labette, now 12-1 on the year, 56-53 heading into the fourth quarter but Labette outscored NOC 33-22 in the quarter to win 86-78.

  Sophomore Violet Reynolds led four Lady Mavs in double figures with 20.  Tahanee Bennell had 17, Sabela Reigosa 12 and Hannah Nealis 10.

  Lady Mavs head coach Greg Krause said the Lady Mavs are still looking for consistency.

  "We're still working on consistency and finishing strong when we are in a position to win," Krause said.  "Our stretches of playing well are getting better. We need to come back for the second part of the season continuing that positive trend."

  NOC led 57-53 heading to the fourth and had their final lead on two Violet Reynolds free throws giving NOC a 64-63 lead.  Labette then went on an 18-2 run to build an 81-66 lead.

  The Lady Mavs then went on a 10-2 run of their own but came up short.

  The Lady Mavs are off for Winter Break their first game in January is at home against Arkansas Baptist Jan. 5.
