The Northern Oklahoma College Lady Mavericks tuned up for conference play with a 96-52 rout of Oklahoma Wesleyan JV Monday night at the Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.
Violet Reynolds led three Lady Mavs in double figures with 23 points. Sabela Reigosa had 20 for Northern while Hannah Nealis added 13.
Head coach Greg Krause was pleased with the win. Monday's game was the first for NOC since Nov. 11.
"We needed a game from a long break in our schedule and heading into conference play," Krause said. "It was a good opportunity to fine tune a few things before a busy two week schedule."
Monday's game was never in doubt as the Lady Mavs jumped out to a commanding 37-11 lead with a 20-0 run in the first half.
The largest lead for the Lady Mavs was 49 points at 94-47.
NOC, now 3-4 on the year, travels to Western for the conference opener on Tuesday.
