Seven NOC Maverick softball players ended their home careers on a high note Tuesday with a sweep of Pratt (KS) 15-2 and 13-5.

Hannah Endicott, Allison McGowan, Ryllie Shipp, Jaci Johnson, Ashlyne Roblyer, Fayth Hoover and Danielle Lithincum played their final games at Maverick Field.

In Game 1, the Mavs scored 13 runs in the first inning in the 15-2 rout.

The Mavs sent 19 hitters to the plate in that eventful first inning.

Hannah Endicott led the Mavs offense with four hits including a double and a triple.  Ryllie Shipp added two triples and two runs scored.

Jordan Johnson cruised against the Beavers allowing two runs on six hits while striking out seven.

In Game 2, the Mavs trailed 5-4 before exploding for nine runs in the 5th inning to win 13-5.

Maggie Glasgow homered and singled driving home four runs for the Mavs in the eight run win.

McGowan added three hits and drove in two runs for NOC.  Shipp, Endicott, and Abigail Farris added two hits each.  Hoover drove in three runs for the Mavs.

Ashlyne Roblyer worked 4.2 innings with Shiloh Roberson worked the final .1 of an innning.

The Mavs (13-33) now wait for the Region 2 Tournament in Piedmont May 8-11.
