NOC Tonkawa fell to Connors Thursday in a conference doubleheader at Maverick Field.

In Game 1, Connors scored four runs in the 7th inning to take Game 1, 13-9.

The Mavs rallied for four runs in the 6th to tie the game at 9-9.

Ryllie Shipp and Allison McGowan had two hits each while Elyssa Kaniatobe, Maggie Glasgow, and Shipp drove in two runs each.

Fayth Hoover scored three runs for the Mavs.

Shiloh Roberson, Jordan Johnson, and Ashlyn Roblyer worked in the circle for NOC.

In Game 2, NOC rallied from 8-0 down to within two runs but fell 10-8.

Kaniatobe had a double and triple for the Mavs while Shipp, Kerik Brown, and McGowan.  Kaniatobe led the Mavs with four runs batted in.

NOC (6-16) hosts Rose State on Saturday at 2 p.m./4 p.m.
