In Game 1, the Mavs trailed 8-0 early, rallied late but fell to the Mountaineers 10-7 in the conference opener on Thursday.

Maggie Glasgow and Abigail Farris homered for the Mavs while Ryllie Shipp had three hits, stole two bases, and scored two runs.

Kerik Brown added two hits and two runs batted in.

NOC outhit Eastern 11-7.

Jordan Johnson worked all seven innings allowing 10 runs on seven hits.

In Game 2, Brown homered while Hannah Endicott, and Fayth Hoover had two runs each.  Shipp and Glasgow drove in two runs each.

NOC trailed 5-0 and once again rallied from down 10-3 to 10-6 but couldn't get over the hump.

Shiloh Roberson and Ashlyn Roblyer worked in the circle for NOC.
