NOC Tonkawa earned their first win of the year Friday beating Barton (KS) 12-11 in nine innings at Maverick Field.

NOC lost the first game 9-2.

In Game 2, The Mavs trailed 11-10 going to the bottom of the 9th when Kerik Brown singled and then was bunted to second by Ryllie Shipp.  Allison McGowan's single chased Brown to tie the game at 11-11.  Abigail Farris then doubled home McGowan with the walk-off base hit.

Farris, Peyton St. Andrews, Maggie Glasgow, and Brown had two hits each.  McGowan and Hannah Endicott had three rbi's each.

Shiloh Roberson earned the win in relief of Ashlyn Roblyer.

In Game 1, the Mavs lost 9-2.

Farris had the lone run batted in for NOC.  Shipp, McGowan, Glasgow, Farris, Elyssa Kaniatobe, St. Andrews, and Mikayla Arnold had hits for NOC.

Jordan Johnson worked in the circle for NOC.

The Mavs (1-3) game against Cloud (KS) on Saturday was canceled due to cold.
