WARNER, Oklahoma –The Northern Oklahoma College opened conference play Tuesday losing to games at Connors State 2-1 and 12-3.
NOC (4-14) hosts Rose State at 2 p.m. Thursday.
In Game 1, Connors broke open a 1-1 tie with a single run in the 5th beating NOC 2-1.
The Mavs had four hits, Hallie Durkee led with two hits for NOC.
Jenna Chassie allowed one earned run over six innings striking out four.
In Game 2, Connors scored six runs in the first inning and cruised to the 12-3 win. Meagan Bellar homered for NOC in a losing cause.
