The NOC Tonkawa Mavericks fell to #2 Seminole 11-2 Thursday afternoon.

NOC (31-12) fell to 13-6 in Region 2 while Seminole (38-2) improved to 21-0 in Region 2 play.

The Mavs led the Trojans early as Rachel Rumsey homered in the 1st inning scoring Kyia Monahwee and the Mavs led 2-1.

Seminole then scored seven runs in the 4th inning to take the lead for good.

Rumsey had two hits for the Mavs while Monahwee and Liz McKellip had one hit each.

Taylor Lane and Jenna Chassie combined in the circle allowing 11 six earned runs on 12 hits.

The second game of the doubleheader was rained out.

NOC travels to Miami Friday for a doubleheader against NEO.
