The NOC Tonkawa Mavericks completed a four game series sweep of NOC Enid Friday at Maverick Field by scores of 11-3 and 10-3.
The Mavs (29-11) improved to 11-5 in Region 2 while the Jets (14-26) fell to 4-16 in Region 2.
Mavs 10, NOC Enid 3
Katelyn Yee and Sarah Rienke had four hits each to lead NOC Tonkawa to a 10-3 win.
Rienke had two doubles and four runs batted in while Yee had one double and two runs batted in.
The Mavs scored five runs in the 1st inning and led throughout.
Aylin Nunez added two hits for the Mavs while Kendall Heisler had two runs batted in.
Taylor Lane (13-7) was solid in the circle allowing no earned runs and striking out 10.
Mavs 11, NOC Enid 3
Yee and Bailee Scrimshire had two hits each and Jenna Chassie won her 15th game to lead the Mavs past NOC Enid 11-3 in a five inning run rule.
Rachel Rumsey had a double and three runs batted in while Kyia Monahwee hit her 5th home run in six games.
Chassie (15-4) allowed three runs on five hits while striking out four.
