NOC Tonkawa run ruled Connors 10-0 Tuesday afternoon earning a conference split with the Cowgirls.

NOC (21-11) is now 2-4 in NJCAA Region 2 while Connors (11-11) is 7-5 in conference play.

Mavs 10, Connors 0

The Mavs scored seven runs in the 4th on their way to a 10-0 run rule over Connors State.

Jenna Chassie (11-4) earned the win in the circle tossing a four hit shut out over five innings.

Aylin Nunez, Rachel Rumsey, and Liz McKellip led an 11 hit attack with two hits each.  

Baylee Scrimshire and Emily Poindexter had two runs batted in each.

Connors 4, Mavs 2

The Mavs led 2-1 in the 7^th until Connors connected on a three run home run to upend NOC 4-2.

NOC scored two runs in the 1^st when Rachel Rumsey singled home Aylin Nunez and then Kyia Monahwee scored on a sacrifice bunt by Kendall Heisler.

The Mavs led 2-0 until Connors scored a single run in the 5^th and then three runs in the 7^th.

Taylor Lane (10-7) suffered the loss allowing eight hits, striking out 10 Connors hitters.
