NOC Tonkawa split a pair of conference games against Western on Tuesday.
The Mavs (19-7) won the opener 3-2 and lost the nightcap 7-4.

Kyia Monahwee's two run 5th inning single broke open a 1-1 tie leading the Mavs to a 3-2 win over Western.
Monahwee's single scored Timber Mitchell and Liz McKellip. Mitchell ran for Kendall Heisler who led off the inning with a single.
The Mavs scored their first run in the 2nd when Madison Kettler scored on a passed ball.
Sophomore Taylor Lane (9-5) struck out 11 allowing one earned run.
Western 7, Mavs 4
The Mavs fell behind Western 7-1 before scoring three runs in the 7th, losing 7-4.
Kettler had two hits including a double. Baylee Scrimshire, Aylin Nunez, and Sarah Rienke each had runs batted in for the Mavs.
Jenna Chassie (10-2) allowed four unearned runs in four innings. Lane struck out seven in three innings of relief.
NOC travels to Seminole Thursday and hosts Carl Albert on Friday.
