The NOC Mavs split two games with Barton at Maverick Field Friday afternoon.

NOC (17-5) won the second game 7-5 after dropping the first game 7-6.

In Game 1, Barton scored go-ahead run in the 7th to take the 7-6 win over NOC.  

Emily Poindexter had a big day with a home run and a triple and two runs batted in.  Aylin Nunez, Madison Kettler, Liz McKellip, and Poindexter had two hits each.

Taylor Lane (8-4) suffered the loss in the circle.

In Game 2, the Mavs jumped out to an early 6-3 lead and held on for the 7-5 win.

Rachel Rumsey had a big day for the Mavs with four hits including doubles and three runs batted in.  Sarah Rienke and Kyia Monahwee had two hits each, Rienke scored three runs for the Mavs.

Jenna Chassie (9-1) earned the win in the circle allowing two earned runs and six hits over seven innings.
