Baughman scores game winner against Rose State

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- Madi Baughman scored on a passed ball in extra innings giving NOC a 7-6 win over Rose State last Thursday in Midwest City.

NOC (23-25) lost the first game to Rose State 8-6.

Baughman singled to lead off the 8th inning, advanced to second on a walk to Savanah Mundell and then to third on a sacrifice by Rylee Turman.

Taylor Lane earned the win pitching a scoreless 8th inning.

Baughman, Turman, Jakayla Whitney and Baylee Scrimshire had two hits each, Whitney had two runs batted in.

In Game 1, the Mavs led 6-2 before Rose State rallied for six runs and won 8-6.

Mundell had two hits and three runs batted in while Morgan Rohwer and Scrimshire had two hits each.

Lane was the starter in Game  1 with bullpen help from Kylie Garrett.
