The NOC Mavericks dropped a doubleheader to 12th ranked Seminole Tuesday afternoon in Tonkawa.
Seminole was a 3-1 winner in Game 1 and won the nightcap 22-1.
NOC (18-19) fell to 6-10 in conference play while Seminole (29-3) improved to 18-0.
In Game 1, the Mavericks Taylor Lane held the Lady Belles in check allowing six hits and three runs.
Seminole led 3-0 in the seventh when the Mavs began a late rally. Bailee Scrimshire and Liz McKellip both reached on errors, Madi Baughman's sacrifice fly scored Scrimshire cutting the lead to 3-1.
Savanah Mundell then lined to center and Farrah Bonds grounded out to end the game.
Baughman had a double for the Mavs while Mundell had the other NOC hit.
In Game 2, the Mavs had four hits including two by Jakayla Whitney one of which was a double. Mundell and Baughman added singles for the Mavs.
