Mavs lose two to 9th ranked Butler

NOC softball dropped a pair of games to 9th ranked Butler Sunday  in Tonkawa.

Butler (27-3) won the first game 19-2 and the nightcap 12-4 over NOC (18-17).

In Game 1, the Mavs were held to just four hits.  Rylee Turman had two hits and a run scored while Baylee Scrimshire and Kendall Heisler each had singles.  Heisler had a run scored while Jordan Cox had an rbi.

In Game 2, NOC trailed Butler 5-4 until the visitors scored six runs in the third to take an 11-4 lead eventually winning 12-4.

Turman had two hits and an rbi while Madi Baughman and Savanah Mundell had one hit each.

Baughman started in the circle for the Mavs in the second game while Morgan Rohwer and Kylie Garrett pitched in Game 1.
