Liz McKellip had two hits and three runs batted in a 9-6 NOC Maverick softball win over Connors Wednesday in Ponca City.

The win over Connors earned a split against the Cowgirls in OCAC Conference action.  Connors won the first game over NOC 5-3.

NOC is now 16-13 on the year.

In Game 2, McKellip had a double and scored two runs from the leadoff spot for the Mavs.  Morgan Rohwer also had a double and two rbi's.

Jakayla Whitney earned the win in the circle allowing one earned run in four innings.  Taylor Lane sealed with win with three innings out of the Mavs bullpen.

In Game 1, the Mavs lost 5-3 as Connors broke a 3-3 tie with two runs in the seventh.

McKellip had three hits in the opener, Jakayla Whitney had two hits for the Mavs including a double.  Rohwer had the lone NOC run batted in.

Lane took the loss allowing four earned runs in seven innings.
