The NOC Maverick Softball team routed Friends University JV Sunday 8-0 and 15-0 Sunday afternoon in Tonkawa.

NOC (15-12) out hit Friends 20-6 in the double header sweep.

Farrah Bonds tripled and homered in the first game, an 8-0 win by the Mavericks.  Olivia Buck added two hits while Bonds and Rylee Turman scored two runs each.

Taylor Lane was dominant in the circle allowing just four hits while striking out nine.

In Game 2, NOC scored in every inning in the 15-0 rout.  Leadoff hitter Baylee Scrimshire had two hits and scored three runs.  Morgan Rowher also scored three runs for the Mavs.Madi Baughman had three hits including a double and had three runs batted in.

Baughman combined with Rohwer in the circle allowing just two Friends base hits.
