NOC split a pair of run rule games with Highland Community College Thursday afternoon at Tonkawa.
The Mavs won the first game 8-0 and lost the night cap 17-2.
In Game 1, Taylor Lane improved to 4-0 allowing one hit and struck out nine in tossing a complete game against the Scotties.
A five run 4th provided all the offense Lane would need as the Mavericks plated five runs on six hits. Farrah Bonds had a double scoring two runs to lead the charge.
NOC then finished off the Scotties with three runs in the 5th to win 8-0.
Madi Baughman, Savanah Mundell and Jakayla Whitney had two hits each while Whitney had two rbi's.
Game 2 was a reverse of Game 1 with Highland winning 17-2.
Mundell, Rylee Turman and Morgan Rohwer had hits for the Mavs. Rohwer and Baughman pitched for the Mavericks.
NOC is now 6-2 on the season.
