The Lady Maverick's softball team have returned from the semester break and will start their season on February 8th at home against Indian Hills Community College. The season looks to be promising for the Lady Mav's who return four sophomores from last year's team and two transfer athletes. Following the sophomores will be thirteen talented freshman who will make an instant impact.
Sophomore Rylee Turman has high expectations for the season. "We have a strong group and look to have a great season. We will compete hard and have a good chance to win every game." Turman says.
Freshman Kendall Heisler is excited about the team, stating, "We have a really hard working group of girls! I believe that we will have a very successful season!"
