ENID, Oklahoma -- The Northern Oklahoma College Mavericks dropped a 4-3 decision to Rose State Saturday afternoon in the NJCAA Region 2 semi-finals.
NOC ended their season at 5-10-3.
The Mavs picked up two goals from freshman George Robinson and one from freshman Brooks Rogers but Rose State scored the game winner in the 78th minute to earn the 4-3 win.
Robinson's first goal was assisted by Shukri Farias came in the game's 4th minute. After Rose took a 2-1 lead, Robinson scored an unassisted goal in the 21st minute.
Rose took a 3-2 lead in the second half but Rogers tied the game directing a Kareem Williams' shot into the net in the 48th minute.
Rose then scored the game winner that would end the Mavs' season.
