Northern Oklahoma College Athletics has named Daniel Perez and Emma Peak as Student Athletes of the Week for Oct. 22.

Perez is a sophomore defender from Tulsa Union while Peak is a freshman defender from Sand Springs.

Danny (Perez) has been great for us all year," said Mavs head coach Michael DuRoy.   "He isn't the ideal size for a centerback but makes up for with speed, strength, and determination. He is one of our most valuable players."

Emma (Peak) has had a fantastic year with us so far," said interim head coach Jade Ovendale.  "She always works hard in training and does a lot of the little things we need her to be doing. The last two games she has been moved into a different position and has done really well there. I am proud of her effort and how she continues to improve in games and training."
