ENID, Oklahoma -- The Mavs outscored NOC Enid 9-2 in the final 1:55 leading the Mavs past NOC Enid 83-77 Thursday at Enid.
Trailing 75-74 with 1:55, Anthony Ignowski scored on a conventional 3-point play to give NOC a 77-75 lead they would not relinquish.
Ignowski scored on a driving layup, Famious French made two free throws sandwiched by two Jordan Gorecki blocked shots.
Ignowski led the Mavs with 31 points while Tyson Brown added 28. Gorecki had 11 points while Famious French added nine.
Brown led the Mavs with 11 rebounds while Goreckl added five blocks.
The Mavs struggled through the first half with NOC Enid taking a 42-33 lead into halftime.
NOC (14-13) improved to 6-8 in league play while NOC Enid (10-19) fell to 2-13 in league play. The Mavs beat NOC Enid 75-73 in January in Tonkawa.
Thursday's win broke a five game losing streak.
The Mavs host Redlands Monday night at 7:30 p.m. with sophomore night held just before the game.
