ALTUS, Oklahoma -- NOC rallied late against Western but Javontae Campbell's layup was just off the mark in a 72-71 loss to the Pioneers.

Campbell led the Mavs with 25 points while Anthony Ignowski had 20.

Jordan Gorecki added 10.  Campbell led the Mavs on the boards with seven and added five assists.

NOC trailed the Pioneers 33-29 at half before rallying late and then falling just short.  NOC trailed by as many as six in the final 2:00.

The Mavs shot 42% from the floor and 24% from 3-point range.

NOC (13-10) fell to 5-5 in conference while Western (18-5) improved to 6-4.

The Mavs host Seminole Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
