Campbell's late basket propels Mavs over Redlands

EL RENO, Oklahoma -- Javontae Campbell scored 31 points including the game winner on a traditional 3-point play leading NOC past Redlands 87-86 Thursday night.

NOC (12-7) is now 4-2 in league play while Redlands (10-11) fell to 2-5.

The Mavs led 84-83 when Redlands hit a late 3-pointer to give the Cougars an 86-84 lead.  Campbell then knifed to the basket and scored with :03 left drawing a Cougar foul.  Campbell then hit the game winner leading the Mavs to the one point twin.

Anthony Ignowski and James Brown, Jr. each added 15 for the Mavs.  Campbell added 14 rebounds while Matet Dhieu added six.  Ignowski led the team with five steals.

The Mavs led 48-35 at half and controlled Thursday's game until Redlands made a late run setting up Campbell's heroics.

The Mavs are at Connors Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in a make-up game.
