NOC Tonkawa used a balanced attack Tuesday in an 80-55 rout of Seward (KS) at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.

Four Mavs were in double figures led by James Brown, Jr. with 19 points.  Javontae Campbell had 16 for NOC while Tyson Brown added 15 and Anthony Ignowski 14.

NOC got off to a slow start as Seward jumped out to an early 7-0 lead but NOC rallied to take a 31-29 lead into the dressing room.

The Mavs then dominated the second half outscoring Seward 25-8 to take a 58-39 lead with 7:49 left.

The Mavs then ended the game on a 13-2 run to win going away 80-55.

"We started off slow in the first half but came out with a lot more of a defensive focus in the second half," said coach Brandon Gossett.  "We were able to build a lead on getting stops and scoring in transition. It's always nice to win the game before heading into break. We are excited for the second semester and the challenges ahead."

NOC ended the fall semester at 7-5 with their next game set for Dec. 5 against the OKC Storm in Tonkawa.
