Twelve NOC Tonkawa Mavericks scored in an easy 87-41 win over Nationwide Prep Academy Thursday night at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse.

The Mavs (5-4) are ranked #24 in the latest NJCAA poll.

"It was a good all around team win," said coach Brandon Gossett.  "It's always fun when everyone who plays scores a basket. You never know what to expect going into games like this, so I'm glad we showed up ready to go."

NOC led Nationwide 24-15 midway in the first half when the Mavs went on an 18-3 run to end the half giving NOC a 42-22 lead.

The run continued in the second half as NOC went on a 22-2 run to build a commanding 63-24 lead.

Anthony Ignowski and Javontae Campbell led NOC with 15 points each.  Jordan Gorecki added 10 for the Mavs.

NOC is at Ft. Scott (KS) on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.
