GREAT BEND, Kansas --  NOC built a big first half lead and then held off Hutchinson (KS0 89-86 Saturday in the Barton County Classic in Great Bend, Kansas.

"This was an all around team win," said coach Brandon Gossett.  "We let them hang around in the second half and turned it over too many times but luckily we made plays and got stops when we needed them. I'm proud of our guys efforts over this last seven days playing five games in that time frame and coming out with wins is not easy."

Javontae Campbell led the Mavs with 26 points while Jordan Gorecki had 16 points and nine rebounds.  Campbell added five rebounds and four steals.

Matet Dhieu added nine rebounds off the NOC bench.

The Mavs shot 53% from the floor and 72% from the line.

The Mavs (4-2) are at Cowley Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
