LIBERAL, Kansas --  Brandon Gossett earned his first head coaching win at NOC Tonkawa Wednesday night in a 77-56 win at Seward (KS).

NOC led from the outset taking a 43-21 lead into the dressing room and then coasted to the 21 point win.

"Our guys stuck to the game plan and executed well," Gossett said.  "We bought in defensively and were able to score in transition off our defense.  Every time they made a run we would answer with one of our own. I am proud of the effort and togetherness they showed tonight"

Sophomore Javontae Campbell led the Mavs with 30 points while Tyson Brown added 23.

Jordan Gorecki led the Mavs on the boards with 12 while Brown added seven.  Campbell added five steals for NOC.

The Mavs held Seward to 30% shooting from the floor.
