NOC sophomore Deon Berrien was named NJCAA Region 2 Athlete of the Week for Feb. 11.

In Maverick wins over NOC Enid and Connors, the Augusta, Georgia, native averaged 27 points and 16 rebounds.

Berrien was 18 of 35 from the floor and 12 of 14 from the line.

He also had 11 assists, five steals and two blocks.
